It's been a great summer!

Ah the end of summer.  One last attempt at fun in the sun before the kids hit the books again.  Our August kits included a few summer treats to enjoy the season!  Our kits are always customized based on the preferences of the junior foodie, but everyone received fun summer recipes!  Many enjoyed the scrumptious Sand Pudding Dessert where our junior chefs worked on their garnishing skills by decorating their pudding beach.  The Peach Pie smoothie included a lot of options in the recipe for our foodies to make the smoothie the way they like it - thick or thin, a juice smoothie or more of a milkshake dessert - the options are endless.  Lastly, why not have the kids make their own breakfast?  Summer days are a great time to learn to start the day off right with a breakfast recipe.  Whichever recipes were included in your kit, we hope that you were able to enjoy the summer season from your kitchen!

We had a great time chatting with Cinnaminson families early on in August about Foodie Fest Kits!  Pheasant Run Swim Club's Ladies Night hosted us as well as some other local vendors for a casual night out.  Thanks so much to Jen Zimmerman for inviting us to join in the fun!

SUPER FUN NEWS... We will be partnering with Hammer and Stain in Haddon Township for our first ever Foodie Fest LIVE event!  This Friday, 8/27 at 1 pm, you could sign up to join us for the Friday Food Fiesta event!  At this 90 minute session, kids will not only be making a very cool project with the Hammer and Stain crew, but they will also be making Turkey Club Lunch Box Wraps for lunch!  We'll also craft up a sweet treat and they will take home a third recipe (and ingredients) that would make a great after school snack.  Sign up with this link!
